Our location alongside the newly created 45km Dieppe to Forges-les-Eaux Greenway provides the ideal opportunity for some gentle exercise.
We are at access point PN79. There is parking for the Greenway almost opposite our entrance. (PN = Passage Niveau or Level Crossing)
The route has been converted from a disused railway into a very safe, traffic free route for walkers, rollerbladers and cyclists with an excellent surface and gentle gradients.
The route starts about 9 km from Dieppe ferry port. From Dieppe follow the D1 towards Saint-Aubin-le-Cauf and turn right down a hill to the starting point about 2 km before Saint-Aubin-le-Cauf.
The route passes by a number of pleasant villages including Mesnières-en-Bray where its Chateau can be visited some weekends. In a further 4 km the route passes right in front of Manoir d’ Aulage. Continuing South-East, it is only 2 km to Neufchâtel-en-Bray where the old station has been converted into an art gallery for local artists.
Shortly, the Greenway passes under the A28 motorway before plunging once again into quiet countryside. 6 km from Neufchâtel-en-Bray you can take a break at Saint Saire where you will find an organic Cider producer at Clos-du-Bourg.
Currently, the route ends at Forges les Eaux from where it is planned to continue the Greenway to Paris.
While in Forges, you might like to wander around the lake (Lac de l’Andelle) opposite the Casino and Club Med which is adjcent to the end of the Greenway.
